Check in was good, the attendants were very friendly and funny.
Room stank, floors were sticky, lot of drug dealers and prostitution. Didnt really interact with anyone, but no complaints during our stay. Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra bucks and get a good night sleep down the road. The rooms also say: "please sleep under lock for your own safety, and please don't do drugs". The room service employee who passed by was rude, pounding loudly on the door somewhat early in the morning and not offering fresh towels unless we offered up our old towels immediately, and it made me greatly regret not springing for a slightly better hotel a mile down the road.
Which means there were no muffins either. The hotel was horrible. Threatened to be kicked out over neighbors issues whom we didn't know.
I was welcomed by a rude lady that lost one of my reservations. One plus they had plenty of hot water. The heat had NOT been turned on in January. Would recommend if price is your biggest concern. The residents of this hotels were not the best citizens.
The beds were cheap, older tv, musty smell the room was more what you would expect to be rented by the hour. There were cops and two drunk dudes beating each other as we pulled over in a cab.

It took me two hours to checkin after that. The room furniture and carpet was old and worn out. The facilities are in need of a serious update, I don't even know where to start. Ended up being a prostitution situation which involved police. Certainly not the caliber of the downtown hotels, but for the economic price it was comfortable and convenient to all the areas I needed to get to. Rooms were tiny and were not very clean carpet was sticky couldn't walk bare foot.
Know what you're getting into before you sleep here. And the donuts were Dolly Madison. Had checked in and had to check out and leave. The bed was half made with trash still in the trash can. As soon as I was walking up to my room I was proposition by a prostite for a good time, as soon as I said no thanks I was belittle with nasty insults. The motel is full of displaced families. Forget about breakfast it's a lie.
Improving lives through de.
A fight broke out when I was arriving. Availability of drugs and hookers was nice. The pool was clean and nice but very small. At this point, I didn't care about the soap being missing. The room was disgusting with an awful smell. Front desk was nice about changing rooms.
There were several fights in the parking lot that woke us up through the night. If you are low-balling in Walker Michigan, do so elsewhere. Read reviews and did some prior research so expectations were not all that high. Got into the motel at around 10pm at night, checked out at 11am. The place made us feel safe? Find a cheaper hotel within 24 hours of booking and we will refund the difference. They made you feel welcome and were glad to have you as a guest.
The why behind what we do.
People parting in the hall way. Staff was personable and helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful, though the clientele leaves something to be desired. Would prob not ever stay here again.

now. We went to see a concert at the Deltaplex and the place was very close to the venue, inexpensive and worked out well for our over night purpose. Was only 35 min away. The continental breakfast lacked some. As a member, you receive price matching up until midnight before check-in.

The prostitute was clean and appears to be recently updated so it looks as though they are trying to clean the place up. A "budget" hotel for the thrifty. I knew I had chosen the wrong hotel. The hotel clerk was friendly but she was coughing orleans anything and everything and not covering her mouth. Comfort level suffers greatly. It was defiantly a good price and i guess you get what you pay for.
However, the families were quiet and the stay was pleasant. But no way are stuff would be in there and are food. Finally there was no soap on my bathroom. Everything was in need of fresh paint, inside and out. Too many pimps driving in and out all hours of the night. Fiasco didn't stop until am. Although the room and bathroom were clean, the bedding needs to be replaced; it's overdue. After turned on it would not turn off. SO we asked if we could switch rooms and they did.
Cheap rooms and lack of security makes this motel perfect haven for the worst scum on the earth. Located right off the expressway on Alpine Ave. The area did not feel very safe at night, and while the wi-fi apparently the main selling point did the work, the room was not very rapid, particularly the bathroom, and the TV remote did not work without a lot of effort. A coffee maker would have been nice we could not get coffee till 7am we left at 5am so we had to walk across the street to get coffee. There was no fresh fruit. Price was awsome, but guest were not grand considerate of us needing to sleep for an early fishing trip.
Pimps where annoying.
They offered to first "FOG" the room. But for the price we really can't complain to much.
Room smelled like animal pee so bad we had to buy a glade plug in and a candle still did not help we ended up having to change rooms. I was worried about this at first, since I was not aware of this, or an incident that had happened a year earlier, when I booked the room.

Staff is very nice and professional, and interiors are nice for the most part, although i can build better supports for the lavatory; crude wood used and coming apart at the ts; nice new fixtures but just a half baked job of putting the lavatory in. We stayed there cause it was cheap and close to Michigan adventure.
